Why Anywhere?

 How do you decide what advantages and disadvantages you want to live with?  There are certain privileges and difficulties we have no control over in this life. I am curious about the things you can choose to live with. Ryan and I have moved so much during the last year, 你看一下: Last July while we were in Nevada, my mother-in-law said "there are pros and cons about anywhere you live". I have now experienced living in cities that were so unlike each other, that feels like the only thing I could say about all of them. There were things I liked about each city, and our situation in it, and there were things I didn't like.  There was something hard about life in each city. Even when I was in places I really wanted to be, I couldn't escape the tough stuff. I have felt anguish over political turmoil, downturns in my mental health, grief that seemed to be over nothing at all, anxiety about my family, deeply exhausted and lonely lonely lonely. What we did to celebrate Holy Week 2025

Here is what Ryan and I did to celebrate Easter this year. Hannah and Alex joined us for the activities from Tuesday onward. It was actually quite a lot of work, but we wanted to try to make this Easter Holiday as celebrated as Christmas! We took advantage of activities that were put on by our ward and community as well. It was an uplifting week. Palm Sunday- The Triumphal Entry We went to a special concert to celebrate Christ's triumphal entry. It was put on for the public by nearby stakes, they performed songs about the Savior like "This is The Christ" and then the orchestra did an amazing job playing some songs from Handel's Messiah. If you ever get the chance to listen to Handel's Messiah live I cannot recommend it enough, it is so powerful. I cried the whole time, and got goosebumps when we all sang "hallelujah" together.
